Reasonable Adjustments

Reasonable adjustments are changes that organisations, people providing services, or people providing public functions have to make for persons with physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on their ability to do normal daily activities. They must make these changes to prevent a disability putting anyone at a disadvantage compared with others who are not disabled.

You can also request reasonable adjustments for anyone that you support/care for.

Further information can also be found on the Mencap website and the Mind website.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership have a checklist on their Autism information section.
